Long time artisan, locally known as "The Candle Queen"-- Rebecca Sacchetti

"I've always had a passion for creating, but could never quite spread my wings enough while working for someone else. When my husband suggested I try my hand at candle making I had no idea how fun and rewarding it could be! Years later, I had to give him a great big thank you for his idea, as I have become quite fond of the entire candle making process- so much that I was able to turn it into my career."

About our candles: Known for the many fun scents of soy candles and  unique  home fragrance products, Humble Traditions has become a popular brand of soy candle not only in the small town of Cumberland Maryland, but have also made their way into the homes of many across the nation.

About us: The company is primarily based on creative fullfillment and it  shows greatly with quirky names for  the candles and fun and colorful labels.  The family owned business also cares a great deal about the environment and is committed to using as many natural elements as possible when making it's products and even offers discounts to customers who return the re-usable jars!

The show room for the company is a small store front located in the historic district of downtown Cumberland, MD which is a modest 200 square foot space. While the all natural soy candles and other soy products our cooked at home by the owners, along with the help of their two children,  whose expertise are greatly appreciated when it comes to "sniff testing".

Fund Raising: Humble Traditions offers our products for use in fund raising.  You can earn money for any special cause that you care about.  Great for schools, churches or youth/sports groups.  We can even customize a label for your charity.

Sales Program: Earn extra money with us by becoming a Humble Traditions Sales Affiliate, one of the only candle sales opportunities that doesn't require any start up money.  We pay straight comission just for selling our soy candles! You can host a party or simply take orders.
